Beautiful day for an autumn hike with Cub Scouts from Pack 66! We explored the nearby Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary. Every time we visit Trout Brook, we can see the progress of nature reclaiming this historic wetland from a century of railroads and industrialization.

End of year picnic - June 2019
We capped off another fun year of Cub Scouting at Marydale Park. Burgers on the grill, Raingutter Regatta (with our fancy new inflatable "gutters"), and perfect weather made for a great summer day!

Pinewood Derby 2019
Once again, Pack 66 put their Pinewood Derby cars to the test! Scouts competed not only for the fastest cars, but also for creative designs. Building the car is the best part of the process!

Overnight "campout" at Base Camp
This year we tried a new approach to our December "camp-in". We hung out at Base Camp, practiced our archery skills, climbed the rock walls, ate some pizza, and slept overnight before heading home in the morning. It was a lot of fun, and we plan to visit Base Camp again in the future!

Hiking at Hidden Falls
Pack 66 enjoyed a hike at Hidden Falls park on Saturday, October 13! The weather was sunny and warm, the paths were dry, and we practiced our Leave No Trace skills by picking up several bags of litter.

Cub Scouts begins again on September 10
Cub Scouts begins again on Monday, September 10 at 6:30pm.
Returning scouts & parents, we hope to see you again - it's gonna be a great year!
New scouts - meet us at St. Bernards' Parish Center, just off the corner of Rice St. & Rose Ave. Look for "Door #10" by the parking lot. We'll have lots of signs up, so it should be easy to find.
After years of having to say "no" to girls, we're excited to welcome both boys and girls into Cub Scouts this year! That means that sisters can join alongside their brothers (and vice-versa!) which makes us an affordable one-stop-shop for families who want their kids to have fun while learning outdoor skills, doing service projects, building Pinewood Derby cars, and more!
Come on by and check us out!
